Spring Boosters 2023
As part of Sheppey PCN we are undertaking the COVID Vaccination programme.
People aged 75 years and older, residents in care homes for older people, and those aged 5 years and over with a weakened immune system will be offered a booster of coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine this spring.
Covid-19 vaccinations for our patients are being provided from Sheerness Health Centre and Minster Medical Centre. There will be home visits for housebound patients.
We will start vaccinating those of our patients who are in care homes the second week of April 2023. Towards the end of April we will be visiting our patients who are housebound to give them their vaccination. We will be contacting our patients from the second week of April to arrange our visit. If you are housebound you do not need to contact us. We will contact you.
From the end of April and through May, if you are over 75, you will receive a text message, and/or a telephone call to book your vaccination appointment in the surgery. All of our over 75 years of age patients will be contacted.
Those patients with weakened immune systerms will be contacted from the beginning of May to book an appointment.
