Eat a rainbow : Get your children to find fruit and veg of difference colours at the supermarket then aim to get the same variety of fruit and veg on their plates.

Give everyone a job (or two), put on your favourite music, roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.

Give the frying pan a week off - grill or bake all your meals instead.
