Mortimer Pharmacy
The Mortimer Pharmacy located opposite main reception is open late into the evening on weekdays and during the day at weekends. It is closed on Bank Holidays.
IT/Electronic Patient Records
Statement of Intent for Mortimer Surgery
New contractual requirements came into force from 1st April 2014 requiring that GP practices should make available a statement of intent in relation to the following IT developments:-
- Referral Management
- Electronic Appointment Booking
- Online Booking of repeat prescriptions
- Summary Care Record
- GP2GP transfers
- Patient Access to records.
Mortimer Surgery are working closely with our System Suppliers and it is our intention to have all these developments available to our patients by 31st March 2015.
Mortimer Surgery Visitors Car Park
Please note: Patients can park their vehicles in the Visitors Car Park at the rear of the Surgery at their own risk. Mortimer Surgery take no responsibility for any damage or loss caused whilst your vehicle is on the premises.
This car park is for Patients attending the Surgery or Pharmacy ONLY. Anybody found to be using this car park for general use may be prosecuted.

Please DO NOT park in the staff car parking zones at the front of the building.
You may get blocked in at any time or asked to move your vehicle.
For the attention of Patients moving out of the Area
Patients who move out of area will asked to consider registering with a local surgery
They can continue to be registered with Mortimer Surgery but will not be able to have home visits. Registration in these circumstances must be agreed with a Mortimer GP

We have seen an increase in the number of Patients requesting their NHS Number.

Booking of Patient Transport
If you have mobility issues and wish to book transport for a hospital appointment you will need to contact them direct on 0300 123 3235 and answer a range of questions to confirm you are eligible for it. This can only be booked up to 72 hours prior to your appointment.
