On occasions some conditions/illnesses take longer to deal with and some take less.
We are unable to plan for every eventuality and at times things will run late.
Please be patient if you are affected by your GP or Nurse running late.
Additionally, when a patient needs to be admitted to hospital as an emergency this can take some time to arrage.
Please don't expect clinicians to complete forms
(e.g. holiday cancellation forms, insurance forms etc.) during an appointment.
These should be left at reception for collection another day.
Please note there is often a fee for this.
Telephone Access
To speak to GP’s and nurses on the telephone during the working day please telephone at the end of surgery between 11:30 and 12:00.
Telephone access to the Practice is available from 08.00am - 18.30pm every day.
Telephone Consultations are also available.
Practice Nurses
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with our Nurse Prescriber rather than a doctor. Nurse Prescribers are qualified to deal with many conditions and are able to prescribe and you may be seen more quickly.
Cancellations
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
How to make an appointment
- The text reminder service also gives you the option to cancel.
