Over 65 year olds

age 6 months - 65 in a clinical risk group

Children age 2, 3, 4

School age children from age reception to year 11

Pregnant Women

Front line health and care staff

Patients turning age 60 or 70 in 2024

Those already age 70-79 who have not previously been vaccinated for shingles

Age 50+ with a weakened immune system

All adults aged 65 and over

Care home residents

Age 6 months to 64 in a clinical risk group

Health and social care workers

Pregnant women to protect infants from 28 weeks gestation

Age 75 -79

(Adults who turn 80 between 2nd Sep 2024 and 31st Aug 2025 remain eligible up to and including 31st August 2025)
