The purpose of the Minor Illness Service is to offer a same day appointment for many common and treatable conditions.

The specialist nurse has undergone extensive training in the diagnosis and treatment of such conditions. The specialist nurse can discuss your case with the doctor if required.  We also have a highly qualified Advanced Nurse Clinician who sees our patients for Minor Illnesses who is able to prescribe.  

Please remember that the receptionist may suggest an appointment with the specialist nurse to reduce your waiting time before being seen.
