Social Prescribing
There is a wide range of activities and organisations in the local community and Social Prescribing is about linking you to these opportunities with the aim of improving your health and wellbeing.
Our Social Prescribers, Gail and Nichola from the CHAOS group, have listed some key support services below.
You can also contact your GP for a referral to speak with a Social Prescriber for more individual support and information. Improving your lifestyle can be challenging and you may not be sure where to start. Social prescribing can help to empower you and give you the confidence and support you might need to make a change.

Outlook Southwest- Local- provides the Improving Access to Psychological Therapy ( IAPT ) free service for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. It is for people aged 16 and above, suffering with stress, low mood and worry.
