Your Big Health Conversation – GP Services Survey

Locally the way in which you can access some of your GP services is changing with the introduction of:

  • Integrated Primary Care Access Service
  • Same Day Access Services
  • GP provided phlebotomy tests (blood taking)
  • Online access (eConsult)
  • Online appointment booking
  • Online prescription requests
  • Long term condition clinics
  • Care navigators.

Fareham and Gosport Clinical Commissioning Group and Southern Hampshire Primary Care Alliance would welcome hearing your thoughts on these services as they may make changes to how and where they services based on what local people say.

Choose and Book

When you and your GP have agreed that you need an appointment to see a specialist, the on line service Choose and Book shows your GP which hospitals or clinics are available for your treatment. Your GP will discuss with you the appropriate options that are available for treating your medical condition. You may be given a print out of the choice of hospitals from which you may chose and contact to book an outpatients appointment directly, or your Doctor will book the appointment for you whilst you are with them.
