Skin Clinic

Dr Wheeler and Dr O'Connell both  have a particular interest in dermatology and minor surgery. Dr Wheeler worked in dermatology at Hume Street Skin Hospital in Dublin where he also gained surgical experience working with a plastic surgeon. He completed the Diploma of Practical Dermatology in 1994 and is a member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society and the Primary Care Surgical Association. He was, until recently, the GP representative on the Board of the Irish Skin Foundation.

 People with skin problems are invited to make an appointment for the skin clinic which runs twice weekly.

There is a charge of €120 for a first visit as this involves a full body skin examination and is a double appointment. Subsequent visits are charged at the standard rate of €60.
