Appointments
All patients are seen by appointment; please telephone or call in at the surgery during opening hours (before 10:00 if possible).
Appointment Times (Monday - Friday)
- Mornings: 08:30 – 11:00
- Afternoons: 15:00 – 17:00
Some morning appointments are available to book the same morning. Please make a separate appointment for each patient wishing to see the doctor. We will do our best to enable you to see (or speak to) your registered doctor. Continuity of care is best provided by one doctor, preferably your registered GP. If your own doctor is on holidays / half-day or sickness absence you may need to see another doctor.
The system is based on an average consultation time. Inevitably some consultations do run overtime thus putting us behind.
We hope you agree that it is important that each patient gets all the time they need and we are very appreciative of the patience of those who may perhaps be delayed as a result.
You can help us and your fellow patient by being on time for your appointment and letting us know if you need to cancel.
Patients with Particular Needs
The lower floor of the surgery is accessible to patients using a wheelchair.
We have a parking space outside the practice reserved for patients displaying a disabled sticker.
For patients with hearing problems, we have a 'loop' at reception, a portable loop for consultation rooms and will correspond by fax (O1843 853387). We can arrange interpretation and translation services in person or by telephone for patients who do not speak English. Please let us know if you need this service when booking an appointment.
The practice endeavours to provide literature in several languages and mediums such as audio tape, video (with British Sign Language) and Braille texts. Please ask at reception.
Cancellations
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
