THE PRACTICE OPERATES EXTENDED HOURS, FOR ROUTINE BOOKED APPOINTMENTS WITH GP'S, AND WITH OUR HEALTHCARE ASSISTANTS FOR BLOOD TESTS FROM 07.30. NO OTHER SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE WITHIN THESE HOURS.

Accessibility
Disabled Access - We have ramps at the front and rear of the surgery, and all appointments are on the ground floor.
URGENT PROBLEMS
Please telephone the surgery on 02380223086 as soon as possible after 8.00 am if you have an acute urgent issue. If the problem is an emergency needing a doctor straight away, please make this completely clear to the receptionist.
In some circumstance (collapse, unconsciousness) you may wish to telephone the ambulance at the same time.
TELEPHONE CONSULTATIONS
Talking to a Doctor on the Telephone: If you wish to speak to a Doctor by phone, please call the surgery to book a telephone appointment.
Talking to a Nurse on the Telephone: Nurse advise is also available by telephone, for travel advice, general health advice, management of minor ailments and to discuss appropriate test results e.g. smears, swabs and some test results. If you would like to speak to one of our Practice Nurses, please call the surgery to book a telephone appointment.
Evening and weekend appointments
These appointment can be booked through your GP practice when they are open, or for urgent issues when we are closed, by phoning NHS 111.
NHS 111 is free to phone and available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
URGENT TREATMENT CENTRE
The Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) at the Royal South Hants Hospital offers convenient, fast and expert treatment on a wide range of injuries or illnesses that are not life/limb threatening.
What to know:
The service is led by highly skilled nurses, who are supported by GP’s and other health professionals, who can offer treatment, advice and information for a range of injuries and illnesses that need urgent medical attention, but are not life-threatening. The waiting times can be considerably less than at the emergency department and the UTC team can also refer or direct you to the most appropriate service for you if you need to be seen elsewhere.
You don’t need to make an appointment, the UTC is open to all NHS patients and you can also call NHS 111 before visiting to get an appointment at a specific time.
