Booking an Appointment

The aim of our system is for patients to get advice and treatment for our patients as quickly as possible by the right healthcare professional.

Our receptionists  work according to  protocols agreed by the Partners to make sure that all patients are treated safely and fairly. Please be polite to our receptionists  and do not attempt to intimidate, bully or harass them. . We do not tolerate abuse of our staff under any circumstances.

We operate a system called "triage". This means that you let our receptionist know what your medical problem is. Working to protocols agreed by the Partners, the receptionist will direct you to the most suitable  team member or service outside the practice who can deal with your condition. When only advice is required from us, it will be given by telephone. If the clinician thinks that you need an appointment in surgery or by video, it will be booked for you. Your appointment  details may be given to you  by telephone or by text.

Reception is open for requesting  an assessment or appointment and for general enquiries by telephoning 01494 445150  Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:30.

If you are not sure whether you need to see a doctor or if you looking for medical advice outside of surgery hours you may find the answer on the NHS 111 Online.

Please help our clinicians to run on time by being honest about how many problems you have or if a problem  is too complex to be dealt with in a 10 minute appointment. Please do not ask for an appointment for one problem and then tell the person seeing you about several and say this is because it is so hard to get an appointment.

Book Your Appointment Online
