Marcia Hamilton
Social Worker Hi, my name is Marcia Hamilton and I am the social worker based at your doctors’ practice. I have worked as a qualified social worker for the Western Trust from 2006 until I came to Foyleside family practice in June 2019. My experience is in family and childcare but I am here to provide support and guidance in a variety of areas for all our patients. I either signpost to the appropriate resources in the community or I can make referrals to community/trust services. My main work is directly with patients and can be for some of the following issues; housing issues, carer support, relationship issues, domestic abuse, parenting worries, financial problems and overall advocacy. I can speak to you on the phone, in the practice or in a home visit - it all depends on what you need. You can contact me by ringing in to the practice (doesn't have to be 8.30am!) and leaving your name so I can call you back.
