Our team of Advanced Nurse Practioners (ANP) are nurse who have completed advanced clinical education beyond that required of the generalist registered nurse (RGN) role and are able to deal with minor ailments, acute conditions and have the ability to prescribe. Our ANP's also perform telephone triage each morning to ensure that our patients are seen by the best suited clinician.

Practice nurses are qualified and registered nurses. They can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings, in addition to running clinics for the management of many chronic health conditions such as asthma, diabetes and hypertension.

Our Healthcare Assistants are an important addition to our nursing (and wider) practice teams, working under the supervision of a qualified nurse. They can check blood pressure, test urines, undertake health checks, perform ECG tests, take blood samples and also carry out registration medicals.
The Practice management team are responsible for the overall day to day Management of the practice including complaints, contracting, human resources, information governance, supporting the Partners and other medical professionals with delivering good quality patient care.

Receptionists provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. Receptionists make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Our Secretarial team deals with all referrals to secondary care and can help you with an queries you may have about a referral, insurance reports or forms.
Pharmacist Partner
The district nursing team nurses can be contacted on 01743 277709 between 08.30 and 17:00 every day. Their service is for patients who are housebound.
A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
