INFORMATION

Welcome to our surgery website. We hope to use this site as well as other social media platforms like face book & Instagram to give our patients up-to-date information relating to our practice and to healthcare topics.

Telephone Lines

Please note the telephone lines are closed between 1pm and 2pm.

Our telephone lines are open from 08.00am to 18.00pm with the exception of the lunch time hour above.

If you have a LIFE THREATENING MEDICAL EMERGENCY please dial 999.

Our Appointment System

Our Surgery has been open and seeing for face-to-face appointments all through the pandemic. As part of managing the number of appointments that were requested and keeping our patients safe, we started a triage first appointment system.

Triage first means you will have a telephone appointment with a doctor first and they will discuss your health issues over the telephone. This allows the doctor to then bring you in to the surgery for a face-to-face appointment later that day, consult with you online, or refer you straight to the service they think best meets your needs.

There are several ways you can contact the surgery to get information or help: -

  • Visiting our website
  • The NHS App - The NHS App is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet. You can order repeat prescriptions, book, cancel and check appointments, as well as see parts of your medical records like test results.
  • Calling us
  • Using Online Services to book an appointment, get a prescription request, request access to your medical record.
  • Using Our Online queries link above (allows you to submit an online admin or clinical query)

Our Annual Health checks, Phlebotomy, Nurse Led Minor Illness, Wound Care & Cervical Smear services are all running. Our Dispensary is open as usual.

Your local pharmacist can provide advice and treatments for minor ailments and conditions and without the need to book an appointment. Often you can use self –care to meet your health needs. The best place to get accurate health information is the NHS website. The NHS website has information and advice on medical conditions and symptoms, common medicines, & healthy lifestyle.

If you have an urgent care need you can also call NHS11 which is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
