Screening: what to expect at your appointment video translations Public Health Scotland has developed ‘what to expect at your appointment’ videos for abdominal aortic aneurysm, breast, cervical and diabetic eye screening.
Each video has also been translated into the following languages: Arabic, Dari, Pashto, Polish, Simplified Chinese (Mandarin) and Ukrainian.

Cervical screening (smear tests) is a quick test to check your cervix for Human Papilloma Virus ( HPV)
Eligible age – from 25 years old
Routine recall every 5 years
Recall letters are sent from the health board when test is due.
