This service is still running. Interviews take place by telephone instead of in person. If you would like to be referred to this service, please phone the practice and ask the receptionist.

The Citizens Advice Bureau can provide information, advice and assistance in a wide range of areas including: -

Citizens Advice Scotland has launched a new national advice helpline to enhance their service during the coronavirus crisis. The helpline is free to call on 0800 028 1456 and will initially operate from 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
National Money Advice Service
This service is providing information on coronavirus / Covid-19 and your money. They also have a 'Coronavirus and Money' Facebook group.

Glasgow City Council Support
Glasgow City Council are providing Farmfoods Cards to families currently in receipt of free school meals and/or School Clothing Grants. Families will receive £2 per day per child and your card will be topped up fortnightly until 8th June 2020 inclusive, on the dates specified in the letter you will receive. If you haven't received a card by Monday, 6th April 2020, telephone 0141 276 1177.
Social Housing Tenants
Many housing providers in North West Glasgow have support available for their tenants, such as welfare benefit advisors. Contact your housing provider for more information.
Attending Hospital?
The NHS Support & Information Services (SIS) provides a friendly and confidential place for patients, families and staff to access health, wellbeing and financial support. They can assist with emergency food, fuel and money concerns, as well as information and referral to a wide range of community services such as carers, money and debt advice.

Scottish Welfare Fund
The Scottish Welfare Fund is a Scottish Government scheme which provides a safety net in disaster or emergency, or to enable independent living in the community. Crisis grants don't need to be repaid and are available to apply for by people who do not have alternative means of paying for what they need. They are intended to meet one off needs rather than ongoing expenses.

Aberlour Urgent Assistance Fund
Cash grants to assist those under 21 and their families in times of extreme hardship. Applications need to be endorsed and submitted by a sponsor in professional capacity only.
