Both our surgeries are registered with Cervicalcheck. We provide free smears to eligable women from all areas. Our Nurse, Aoife carries out the majority of smear tests and is on the smeartaker register.

The optimum time to have your smear test is 14 days from the 1st day of your last period. Generally the consultation is 10 minutes and the procedure is not painful. Results are available approximately 4 weeks after the test is taken.
