Appointments

 The doctors are available for consultations at the following times:

Urgent Medical Problems

Will be seen on the same day during current surgery sessions. If you explain to the receptionist the nature of your  problem it would be helpful. Anything you tell the receptionist will always be kept strictly confidential.

Telephone Consultations

If  you wish to speak to the doctor  concerning a medical problem, please telephone between 11.30am - 12noon. Do tell the receptionist the nature of the call as this would be helpful.

Chaperones

All patients can request a chaperone for any consultation, examination or procedure where they feel one is required. Please inform your doctor/ nurse who will be happy to arrange this for you.

Hospital Access Helpline

If you are having any problems with hospital appointments, or are waiting for delayed letters or test results, contact the hospital access helpline on the number 0345 602 9906

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Home Visits

We would request that you attend the surgery if possible. Home visits are generally restricted to those who cannot come to the surgery under any circumstance that is, to genuinely housebound and the terminally ill.

For each visit the doctor makes, he is able to see on average, 6 patients in the surgery

If a home visit is required please telephone before 10:00.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
