ALL COLD/FLU, SORE THROAT AND GENERAL PAIN RELIEF MEDICATIONS CAN BE SUPPLIED AT ANY LOCAL PHARMACY QUOTING THE "PHARMACY FIRST" SCHEME AVAILABLE TO ALL PATIENTS FREE OF CHARGE.  PLEASE MAKE USE OF THIS FREE AND CONVENIENT SERVICE PRIOR TO MAKING A GP APPOINTMENT FOR THESE MINOR AILMENTS.

New Patient Registration

The Practice is happy to register anyone that lives in the local area and who is not currently registered with a local doctor. Please note that you will be registering with Carntyne Medical Centre and not with a specific doctor but are still entitled to consult with the doctor of your choice. 

PLEASE READ HOW THE PRACTICE APPOINTMENT SYSTEM OPERATES BEFORE REGISTERING. IT WILL TAKE 14 DAYS TO REGISTER WITH THE PRACTICE AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR REGISTRATION APPLICATION FORM AND OUR HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE FORM.

PLEASE NOTE: OUR PRACTICE POLICY IS NOT TO PRESCRIBE: DIHYDROCODEINE, DIAZEPAM AND LONG TERM SLEEPING TABLETS.  ANYONE WISHING TO JOIN THE PRACTICE WILL BE DETOXED FROM THESE MEDICATIONS.

All new patients will be required to complete a registration form AND a medical questionnaire prior to being registered we cannot complete the registration process until we receive BOTH of these forms We also require information regarding eligibility to register as a NHS patient. New patients are invited to attend a new patient check-up within 6 months of registering.

Our Catchment areas are:

G31, G32( EXCLUDING G32 8 & 9) &  G33 2 & 3 ONLY.
