When We Are Closed
When the practice is closed, phone 0141 800 0840 and your call will be redirected to Glasgow Emergency Medical Services (GEMS). Alternatively, you may call NHS 24, a 24 hour confidential health advice and information service, on 111. The local GEMS centre is at Stobhill Hospital and is open from 18:00 - 07:30 Monday to Thursday, and from 18:00 on Friday to 07:30 on Monday. It is also open on public holidays. You must phone first and be invited to attend. Transport will be provided if necessary.
House calls are made to those too ill or infirm to attend the centre. All calls to this service are recorded, further information is available at www.nhsinform.scot
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you really cannot wait until Keppoch Medical Practice re-opens.
In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
