Repeat Prescriptions

Computer printed prescriptions have a tear off right hand side for you to use as your repeat request. Please tick the items required and leave your request in the box provided inside the surgery, near the front door.

You can request a prescription in writing and enclose a stamped addressed envelope to be sent to your chosen address.

Electronic prescribing is available at the surgery and you can order your prescription in the normal way.  Your prescription will be emailed to the pharmacy of your choice and you can collect it from them after 48 hours.

Online service is also available where you can order prescriptions and book an appointment. Contact the surgery or at the reception to register for this service.

• Repeat prescriptions requests are not accepted over the telephone.
• Please allow 48 hours (2 working days) before collecting your prescription.
• Prescriptions will not be handed over the children under the age of 16 years.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Prescriptions Charges and Exemptions
