Repeat Prescriptions
There are a number of ways to order your repeat prescriptions...
- You can drop your request into the post box outside the surgery entrance
- Send it to us in the post
- Request via your usual pharmacy
- Via Patient Access if you are registered for Patient Online Services
- Via this link if you are not registered for Patient Online Services
Online Orders
In addition to Patient Online Services, we also offer online repeat prescription ordering via the link at the top of this page. You need to enter the details of the items that you are requesting, enter details to identify yourself, and enter your email address if you wish to receive an email confirming the details of your request.If you need to order more items than there are lines available, simply return to the page and enter the additional items as a new order.

The details of your request will be sent to the surgery by email. The receptionist will prepare your prescription for the doctor to check and sign. You need to allow two full working days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
Collecting your prescription & the Electronic Prescription Services (EPS)
Regardless of the method used to order your medication, your prescription will be sent via the Electronic Prescription Service to your nominated pharmacy. As soon as your doctor has electronically signed your prescription it automatically goes to your nominated pharmacy, However, please note you need to allow time for the pharmacy to prepare your prescription before going to collect it.
Requesting prescriptions early due to holiday
If you are requesting a prescription early due to holiday, please can you provide us with your date of departure, how long you are away for and whether you will be in the UK or abroad as this will enable us to process your prescription appropriately.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed at the Surgery and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Please note if you are requesting medication that does not appear on your prescription re-order form, your request may take longer to process.
