Clinics & Services
Practice Nurses
Our nurses provide a range of services at the practice. These include dressings, blood tests, smear tests, routine injections, childhood vaccines plus full sexual health screenings.
Children's Health
Two-week and six-week check-ups are available for all new born babies, as well as vaccinations for children from two months to school age.
Vaccines are given at 2, 4 and 6 months post-birth. So if a child was born on the first of January, their first vaccine will be due on the second of March. We strongly encourage you to fully vaccinate your children. If you have any queries with regard to your child’s vaccines, please contact your GP or practice nurse.
NB: NEVER give your child any medicine (e.g. Calpol, Nurofen or Paralink) before a vaccine, as this may mask a temperature or infection.
