Recently our Local Medical Council (LMC), have been championing the case with Scottish Government in order to highlight the effects of systemic underfunding, the unintended consequences of capability gaps in both primary and secondary care. We include their open letter to patients highlighting why GP Practices are unable to do everything they once were; and we commend their letter to all of our patients.
