A new GP provider will be taking over GP services at Carse Medical Practice from 15 September 2025 following a successful tender process.

Deuchar Williams Health, a long-established central Forth Valley GP training practice, will take over at the practice from Monday, 15 September, 2025.

The new provider will ensure there is continuity of care for patients as the new GPs will be working alongside current staff members.

What does this mean for patients?

Patients do not need to take any action – they will remain registered with the new practice and will be looked after by the new GPs and the

current staff of the Carse Medical Practice.

Patients’ full medical records will remain at the practice and any new GPs and staff will have access to these, including test results

Hospital referrals and investigations made by the current GPs and staff at the practice will not be affected

Patient prescriptions, health visiting and district nursing services will not be affected in any way

Individual letters are on their way to patients to advise them of the news that they will be transferred over to the new GPs and provide more details.
