Dr Aidan Hampson qualified in RCSI in 1976 and completed his training in the old Richmond and Temple St Hospitals. Entered GP in 1979 with his father Dr Joe Hampson and his sister Dr. Grainne Hampson in Collins Ave In 1981 he started on his own in Whitethorn Rise and the rest is as they say history.

Married to Frances Harrington in 1979 and has 5 children and 3 grandchildren Feels communication is the most important attribute of a GP After 38 years as a doctor he still retains a great enthusiasm and love of all things GP.  Has served on the Beaumont Hospital Board for 9 years and is now on the board of D Doc

Dr Alison studied medicine in the Royal College of Surgeons. She graduated with honours in 2006. She did her internship in Beaumont Hospital and obtained a place on the RCSI GP training scheme which she finished in 2011.  

Dr Alison is married with three young boys. Her areas of interest include paediatrics, medicine of the older person and family planning.  She has additional qualifications in family planning, and offers the mirena coil, and a diploma in musculoskeletal medicine.

Dr Alison is also interested in under graduate teaching, and runs a successful teaching programme in the practice through TCD.

Dr Stephen studied Sports Science in London for 3 years prior to studying Medicine in the RCSI Dublin, graduating in 2006.  After qualifying he worked for 5 years in hospital medicine spending time in numerous specialties including 2 years in surgery.

Steve has been in Family Medicine for 7 years, completing the General Practice training scheme in 2013 and becoming a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners.  Steve completed a Masters in Sports Medicine in UCC in 2016, and also currently working as race doctor for the cycling race the 'Ras'.  Prior to moving to the Hampson Surgery, Steve worked in Cabra with the Milligan Family Practice for almost 4 years.

His special interests include sports medicine, surgery, men's health, psychiatry and children's medicine.

Steve is married with 4 young sons.
