Doctors in Training
We are sometimes involved in health research and the teaching of student Nurses, Doctors and other Health Professionals. The Practice actively supports Doctors in training and is an Accredited Training Practice. This means we have GP Registrars working within the surgery during periods of their training. They are each supported by a Partner within the Practice and gain excellent experience while with us. They are generally here for a year at a time before moving on.
Travel Clinics
Both our practice nurses run travel clinics. If you are going to be travelling please contact the reception desk and they will ask for information of your trip. This will be passed to our nurses, who will assess what vaccinations you will need. A prescription and appointment will be arranged for you if necessary. Please contact us at least 8 weeks before you go to ensure you are covered.
